We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our office in Lima, Peru, using his/her technical skills to make us more efficient and provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers.

Your Responsibilities
• Develop, diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems, and help our customers install applications and programs (mainly for KVM/Proxmox, Ansible, RabitMQ (MQTT – Broker)
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues and new tasks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network Configuration
• Develop and customize our existing environment
• Perform a proper documentation of your work
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions
• Ensure all issues are properly logged
• Prepare accurate and timely reports
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

Requirements & Skills
• Deep general hardware and software knowledge
• Familiarity with windows systems
• Proven work experience as a Technical Support / System Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help
• Experience as a Desk Technician or similar role
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
• Advanced level of proficiency in English is a must

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
• Studies in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
• Deep understanding of Ansbile automation, MQTT and similar components
• Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
• SAP HANA, Wireguard and Mikrotik Switches knowledge and General understanding of Phyton is a plus
